19th edition program
THE DRAWING NOW PRIZE
For the past 15 years, the Drawing Now Prize has been celebrating contemporary creation by highlighting the pioneering role of galleries in rewarding the talent of an artist presented at the show. In 2026, Conté à Paris, the historic drawing house, joins the Drawing Now Prize as an official partner, increasing the prize's endowment to 20,000 euros:
- 5,000 euros prize money for the winning artist;
- 5,000 euros in material support from Conté in Paris, divided among the Prize nominees;
- 10,000 euros in production support for a 3-month exhibition at Drawing Lab and the publication of a monographic catalog.
Talks and performances
A privileged moment for contemporary drawing professionals from all over the world to meet, the show gives the floor to speakers specialized in contemporary art for talks and artist interviews. From performance art to the role of women and the representation of the economic world, each year brings new themes to the forefront of our questioning of this medium.
All our talks and performances are available on our Youtube page.
Art faber circuit
Drawing Now Paris joins forces with Art faber International to present a 10-work exhibition devoted to representations of economic worlds.
The promotion of Art faber was initiated and is being developed by an international and apolitical Collective of personalities from the economic, academic and artistic scenes, at the invitation of the Université Paris Panthéon Assas. Its aim is to shed light on the artistic representation of economic worlds, which to date has never been conceptualized or promoted in its entirety.

Parallax tour
The Parallaxe course was created to celebrate works that push drawing into daring territory, both in terms of subject matter and technical execution. In this way, Parallaxe - which means "to change perspective" - is a veritable treasure hunt, whose excellence is guaranteed by the expert and passionate eye of a professional jury invited each year to join the artistic director in making her selection.
This year, Parallaxe is sharpening its focus, with a selection focusing on women in drawing.
The exhibition
In addition to the works presented by national and international galleries and nearly 300 artists, Drawing Now Paris keeps pace with its editions dedicated to contemporary drawing with a program punctuated by numerous events.
For the 19th edition, the exhibition Numérique lyrique: Nouvelles origines du dessin was imagined and curated by Joana P. R. Neves, in partnership with the Frac Picardie and the Centre national des arts plastiques.

Curare program x C-E-A
The CURARE program, run in partnership with C-E-A (Association française des commissaires d'exposition), invites Domitille Bertrand and Lucie Ménard to look at the Inception, Process and Digital sectors. They question contemporary forms of drawing, exploring the way in which drawing today extends beyond its traditional media.
Nourished by reflections and exchanges with artists and their galleries, the program features several formats: a Q&A with a selection of artists, a text analyzing each sector, and two talks with artists from each sector.
LE PRINTEMPS DU DESSIN
Contemporary drawing is in the spotlight throughout France with Le Printemps du Dessin. From March to June, artists, museums, art centers, historic monuments and unusual places offer exhibitions, workshops and encounters for all publics. Created in 2017 by the Drawing Now Paris team, the event has become an unmissable national gathering. In 2026, it brings together over 100 participants, including 53 new structures. Supported by the French Ministry of Culture and organized in collaboration with the Centre des monuments nationaux, it sets the heartbeat of contemporary drawing across the country.
On the program: over 150 events, including meetings with artists, exhibitions, performances, conferences, workshops, drawing walks and even drawing concerts. Many of the events are free, with a strong commitment to making art accessible to all.
