The Drawing Now Prize
For the past 15 years, the Drawing Now Prize has celebrated contemporary art by highlighting the pioneering role of galleries and recognizing the talent of an artist featured at the fair. In 2026, Conté in Paris, a historic institution dedicated to drawing, is joining the Drawing Now Prize as an official partner, thereby increasing the prize fund to 20,000 euros:
— A 5,000-euro cash prize for the winning artist;
— 5,000 euros in materials from Conté à Paris, distributed among the Prize nominees;
— 10,000 euros in production support for a three-month exhibition at the Drawing Lab and the publication of a monographic catalog.
Among the artists under 50 featured by the 71 participating galleries, the fair’s selection committee has named the following this year:
— Guénaëlle de Carbonnières, born in 1986 (Galerie Binome);
— Roman Moriceau, born in 1976 (Archiraar Gallery)
— Chloé Vanderstraeten, born in 1996 (Traits Libres Gallery);
— Maxime Verdier, born in 1991 (Galerie Anne-Sarah Bénichou);
— Katarzyna Wiesiołek, born in 1990 (Galerie Eric Dupont).
