Guided tour of the Cité internationale des arts artist residences

Every year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes over 1,000 artists from all over the world, offering them a unique space for creation, research and exchange. Open to all artistic disciplines – visual arts, music, literature, cinema, design and architecture, performing arts and curating – it enables them to develop their practices and projects in an environment conducive to experimentation.

The Cité internationale des arts offers numerous residency programs for artists of all disciplines, nationalities and generations. Co-constructed with French and international, public and private partners, these programs offer artists a period of research in the heart of Paris (in the Marais and Montmartre districts), support and immersion within a community of over 300 artists. Whether in the visual arts, music, literature, cinema, design, architecture, performing arts or curating, each program is designed to support personal work while encouraging artistic experimentation and dialogue between disciplines and artists.
