Presentation of the gallery

Founded in 2011 by Auréle Amiot, Modulab develops tools for distribution: exhibitions, publications, art editions, and is committed to the artists it supports.
La galerie strengthens and brings together in this collective project the skills, operating methods and tools needed to make the work of emerging artists visible.

Based in Metz, at the heart of a European crossroads (between Paris, Luxembourg and Brussels), Modulab occupies a strategic position that enables it to forge lasting partnerships and develop a strong cross-border presence.

In addition to programming exhibitions on its premises, the gallery contributes to the development of off-site projects.

Modulab also publishes and distributes artists' multiples in the field of fine art prints, and promotes this work in public collections.

Drawing is Sandra Plantiveau's preferred medium, which she approaches as a sensitive territory of exploration, at the crossroads of inner space and physical gesture.
Her recent works, both traces and research, reveal the importance of the creative process and time in the construction of her imaginary landscapes.
they plunge us into a space where the boundary between document and work is blurred. Through a new scenography, this new body of work, imbued with poetic force, invites us to observe intimate and profound spaces, confronting us with the power of image and gesture.
