Romero Paprocki

Sector General

Presentation of the gallery

Romero Paprocki was founded in 2020 by Guido Romero Pierini and Tristan Paprocki, who initially collaborated by choosing museum-scale spaces to offer first exposure to emerging artists and match the quality of the works on display.

Following the opening of their first gallery in the Marais in 2022, they have concentrated on mid-career artists, driven by a constant desire to formulate a discourse that is both scenographic and legible in the service of the artists.

Romero Paprocki continues its mission to organize captivating exhibitions for its diverse cast of emerging artists, while fostering creativity and continuing to inspire the Parisian community, and beyond, through international art fairs.

Présentation de l'artiste en focus

Pauline Guerrier usually uses drawing as a preparatory base for her creations in marquetry, tapestry or embroidery.
For Drawing Now, she intends to devote herself fully to this, exploring an approach in which watercolor dialogues with the craft skills that nourish her art. For the occasion, she will be producing large-format, never-before-seen drawings, stitched together from A4 sheets, her preferred format, as a metaphor for the continuity between tradition and creation. In addition, she will unveil some forty previously unpublished works, inspired by her singular graphic language, imbued with influences gathered from her travels and residencies.
