galerie dudokdegroot represents a solid group of artists and project artists. Our focus is to show artists who extent the possibilities of their medium and material in painting, photography, three-dimensional art, drawing and video. The program of dudokdegroot exists of 8 exhibitions, mainly solo's, a year. Besides showing work in the gallery we participate at art fairs.

Guy Vording (NL 1985) is inspired by stories and forgotten news items. Historical events from old newspapers and magazines become the beginning of his work. For years he has been collecting original pages to study and analyze the texts and images on them. Selecting a page, Vording draws careful and considered on the original paper to transform it into another scene. He will leave some of the words of the text visible, which then becomes the title of his ‘Black Page’. The domesticity and melancholic zeitgeist of the original American magazine pages from the 1930s to 1950s, show his love for film noir and refers to a typical Hitchcock suspense.
