The winner of the 2025 Drawing Now Award

The Drawing Now Award once again took an international turn by saluting the work of Susanna Inglada represented by the Dutch gallery Maurits van de Laar (The Hague). The Spanish artist mixes drawing, installation and visual arts, instilling a strong theatrical dimension in them. His work has been included in several collections such as Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, (Netherlands), DOM Museum Vienna (Austria), ING Bank Art Collection (Belgium and the Netherlands), Fundacion Monte Madrid (Spain). This year, she is participating in group exhibitions at Casa Encendida (Spain) and the Boijmans Museum (Netherlands).

In addition to an immediate grant of 5,000 euros, Susanna Inglada will benefit from an exhibition at the Drawing Lab (Paris1er) from February to May 2026, which will be open to professional and amateur visitors alike during the 19thedition of Drawing Now Paris.

All Parts Of Us by Susanna Inglada

The Drawing Now 2025 Award exhibition at Drawing Lab

February 13 - May 10, 2026

Susanna Inglada's exhibition All Parts Of Us brings together the artist's most recent works, offering an immersive journey in which drawing extends into three-dimensional space, transforming it into an expressive scene of contemporaneity. Fragmentation, already underlined by the title, is not only a technique for collage composition, but also a key to revealing a vision of existence in which each fragment takes its place in a collective, shared whole.

Inglada's works function as a reactive mirror of the state of the world, capable of capturing the emotions and traumas of the present moment, a sensibility nourished by her theatrical background. The artist acts as a stage director, guiding the viewer through installations such as Forest: a forest of menacing hands , a dramatic metaphor for unity and conflict, or Ojos Cerrados (Closed Eyes), a collage of closed-eyed figures embodying the archetype of those who look away or are unable to confront conflict. These figures become a powerful warning and a call to collective awakening.
