Art faber circuit
This year, Drawing Now Paris joins forces with Art Faber International to offer a program devoted to representations of the economic world.
The promotion of Art faber was initiated and is being developed by an international and apolitical Collective of personalities from the economic, academic and artistic scenes, at the invitation of the Université Paris Panthéon Assas. Its aim is to shed light on the artistic representation of economic worlds, which to date has never been conceptualized or promoted in its entirety.
The term Art faber refers to all works - in the visual arts, literature, poetry, photography, film, music, comics, etc. - that deal directly or indirectly with economic universes. At first glance, artists may seem far removed from these economic worlds, but on closer inspection, many see them as an essential part of our civilization, even if these representations tend to be critical. But that's exactly where we look to artists, whether they're depicting workers in action, salespeople waiting for their customers, or factory fumes obscuring the sky.

- Christine Phal, founder of Drawing Now Paris
Christine Phal began her career in the art world as a gallery owner, developing an exacting eye for the contemporary scene and a keen interest in emerging practices. This hands-on experience, close to both artists and the market, nurtures a strong conviction: drawing represents a space for research and freedom that is still under-represented. In 2007, she founded Drawing Now Paris, the first European fair dedicated exclusively to contemporary drawing, to give this medium institutional and international visibility. Conceived as a platform for discovery and dialogue, the fair supports the recognition of drawing by collectors, institutions and the public. Her commitment continues with the creation of the Drawing Lab, an art center she sponsors, dedicated to experimentation, exhibitions and transmission. Through these projects, Christine Phal defends a committed vision of drawing, conceived as a critical laboratory at the heart of contemporary creation.
- Edith Chabre, Managing Director of a law firm
A lawyer by training, Edith Chabre practiced as a lawyer before turning to educational engineering in 2008, first at Sciences Po where she participated in the creation and management and development of the law school as Executive Director. In 2016, she joined the school Camondoa school of interior architecture and design which is part of the Arts Décoratifs association. This immersion in the world of applied arts enabled her to understand the richness of creative processes and to accompany passionate students in their projects and learning. Today, Edith runs a law firm, a profession where precision meets inventiveness. Passionate about drawing, she practices it as an amateur. " I love the freedom of this artistic format: sometimes very simple tools can be used to produce works in a wide variety of forms, from the most spontaneous to the most accomplished. ".

- Pascal Ybert, gardendesigner, landscape gardener and collector
Pascal Ybert is a garden designer and landscape architect, a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles. His singular career path, combining rigor and creativity, has led him to explore complementary worlds where finance, art and nature intersect. Before devoting himself largely to garden design, he worked as a financial director, a position in which he developed a sense of precision and management. Pascal Ybert has a passion for art, and cultivates a sensitive eye for shapes, textures and harmonies, which he transposes into his landscaping projects. His creations reveal a subtle balance between classical heritage and contemporary expression, where each space becomes a place for dialogue between man and nature. Committed to a collective approach, he is a member of the Art Faber collective, where he shares his the world of work, art and landscape. Through his work, Pascal Ybert affirms a deep conviction: the garden is not just a decorative space, but a place of life and artistic resonance.
