DRAWING NOW PARIS l LE SALON DU DESSIN CONTEMPORAIN is the leading contemporary art fair in Europe exclusively dedicated to drawings. Its 7th edition will be held at Le Carrousel du Louvre from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th April 2013.
An independent committee of well-known figures from the art world will select around 80 galleries.
DRAWING NOW PARIS is taking a Swiss theme under the patronage of the Swiss Embassy in Paris, and a partnership with the Centre Culturel Suisse (Swiss Cultural Centre).
In 2013, we invite you to discover Swiss contemporary drawing. The fair will be hosting a higher number of Swiss galleries and will offer Conferences, meetings, exhibitions, based on Swiss contemporary drawing.
Collectors, curators and art-lovers are invited to (re)discover the contemporary artistic scene through the drawings of well-known and emerging artists.

HIGHLIGHTS 2013

At the invitation of Philippe Piguet, the fair's artistic director, Jean de Loisy will present the MUSEE IMAGINAIRE of Le Palais de Tokyo.
A programme of conferences, DRAWING TALKS, will provide an opportunity to debate questions relating to contemporary drawing and DRAWING NOW VIDÉO to explore a new aspect of contemporary drawing: a video programme, co-curated by New York's DRAWING CENTER, will be visible everyday.

The DRAWING NOW AWARD, now in its third year, will recognise the work of an artist and his gallery. Selected from among a focus artist under 50 years old presented by galleries, the winner will be chosen by members of the fair's selection committee and Brett Littman, director of the Drawing Center, New York.
